Prior Achievements at Master’s Degree Level

If for whatever reason you miss the deadline to complete your Bachelor’s degree you have the opportunity to attend master’s level courses during your last bachelor’s semester – these can then be credited towards your master’s level degree. The following conditions must however be fulfilled:

  1. The Bachelor-Major program of study must have already been completed. Only credits from the Bachelor-minor program can be missing.
  2. You should have been awarded at least 150 credit points.

Students who do not meet the first requirement can attend History Master-Major courses if their Bachelor's thesis is outstanding, but this must be submitted on or before the last day of the semester break.

  1. The Bachelor-Minor program of study must have already been completed. Only credits from the bachelor-major program should be missing.
  2. You should have been awarded at least 150 credit points.

Students who do not meet the first requirement can attend History Master-Minor courses if their seminar paper is outstanding, this must be submitted by the last day of the semester break.

The (final) written papers (Bachelor thesis for major and mono students, seminar paper for Bachelor 60 ECTS, proseminar paper for Bachelor 30 ECTS) must be submitted by the following dates in order for early master level achievements to be recognised:
